I moved to Hawaii at the age of five. I attended public school until the 10th grade and attended high school at Hualalai Academy, a private high school strong in the performing arts.

I’ve been making films since I was 12. I started with random humorous shorts and occasional school projects. Mid year of my freshman year the local YMCA viewed some of my work and hired me to cover The International Pacific Cup of Freediving. I filmed and edited the entire event, creating a 30 minute piece, which was shown at the closing night awards ceremony. The film was seen by hundreds of people from all around the world. I received much praise and even got a standing ovation. The film sold over a hundred copies.

Some of my work has been shown on local and national television. In 2004 I directed and stared in my first HD project, which was transferred to film and shown in local theaters. I’ve also worked on large-scale concerts as a cameraman. I have been hired to film weddings, community plays and a newsworthy promotional piece for Deep Sea Water International.

My creative influences are the people and events that surround me. I find that a well made film stimulates my creativity, so when I watch a movie I consider it on many different levels. I study every scene trying to understand the meaning and appreciate the cinematography. I imagine life around me as a movie where I’m the director. Being the writer, actor, producer and director of my life is my high.

I have a deep passion for filmmaking and I try to do my best with every project. My goal is to one day make a film that changes peoples’ lives in a profound way.
